What is CVE-2017-16613?
A security flaw in the Swauth middleware for OpenStack Swift permits attackers to bypass authentication processes. This issue arises from the logging of unhashed tokens in a GET URI, allowing an attacker to craft new requests using these tokens within the X-Auth-Token header. The vulnerability affects versions of Swauth up to 1.2.0 and OpenStack Swift up to 2.15.1, potentially compromising user authentication and data security.
