What is CVE-2017-16709?

Crestron Airmedia AM-100 and AM-101 devices are susceptible to a remote code execution vulnerability due to improper handling of specific requests. Attackers with administrative privileges can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary commands on affected devices running firmware versions prior to 1.6.0 for AM-100 and prior to 2.7.0 for AM-101. This vulnerability may enable unauthorized access and control over the device's functionality, posing a significant risk to system integrity and confidentiality.
