What is CVE-2017-16782?
In versions of Home Assistant prior to 0.57, an XSS vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code via crafted Markdown text in persistent notifications. This injection can lead to unauthorized access or manipulation of user sessions, compromising the security of the application and its users.
