Summary

The SMS module of Huawei's Mate 9 Pro smartphone is susceptible to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by setting up a pseudo base station to send specially crafted text messages to the device. This malicious action can cause the smartphone to become incapacitated, rendering it unable to make calls, send, or receive text messages, significantly disrupting the user's mobile communication capabilities.
