Resource Management Vulnerability in H323 Protocol Affects Huawei Networking Products
CVE-2017-17258

7.5HIGH

What is CVE-2017-17258?

A resource management vulnerability exists in the H323 protocol across multiple Huawei networking products. Unauthenticated remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted malformed packets, potentially leading to a crash of the affected product processes. Insufficient packet validation allows the attacker to cause disruptions in service, impacting network reliability and security.
