Certain NETGEAR routers are susceptible to a stack-based buffer overflow that can be triggered by an authenticated user. This vulnerability impacts the R7800 models running firmware versions prior to 1.0.2.40 and the R9000 models running versions before 1.0.2.52, potentially allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code or perform unauthorized actions on the affected devices.
