What is CVE-2017-18809?
Certain NETGEAR ReadyNAS OS 6 devices are susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper input validation. This vulnerability can allow attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users, potentially resulting in unauthorized actions performed on behalf of unsuspecting users. Devices running ReadyNAS OS versions prior to 6.8.0 may be at risk. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate exposure to this vulnerability.
