What is CVE-2017-18811?

NETGEAR ReadyNAS OS 6 devices running versions prior to 6.8.0 are susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user’s browser, which may compromise user sessions, deface websites, or redirect users to malicious sites. Users are advised to update to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
