What is CVE-2017-20254?

The Joomla! Component User Bench version 1.0 is susceptible to an SQL injection vulnerability that permits unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL queries. This is achieved by injecting malicious payloads into the userid parameter of GET requests directed to index.php with the option=com_userbench&view=detail. Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive database information, including user credentials and configuration details, posing significant security risks to the affected Joomla installations.
