What is CVE-2017-20258?

The RPC Responsive Portfolio component for Joomla! version 1.6.1 is susceptible to an SQL injection vulnerability. This weakness allows unauthorized attackers to manipulate SQL queries through malicious code injection via the 'id' parameter. By sending specially crafted GET requests to the index.php file, attackers can exploit this vulnerability to extract sensitive data from the database, posing significant security risks to affected websites.
