What is CVE-2017-2666?

A vulnerability in the Undertow web server framework could allow an attacker to manipulate invalid characters in HTTP request lines. When used with certain proxies that handle these characters differently, the attacker could exploit this weakness to inject malicious data into HTTP responses. This exploitation could lead to a variety of attacks including web cache poisoning, cross-site scripting (XSS), or unauthorized access to sensitive information in requests originating beyond the attacker's control.
