What is CVE-2017-2865?

A vulnerability exists in the firmware update functionality of Circle with Disney that allows an attacker to craft specific network packets. By manipulating network traffic, the attacker can trigger the execution of a shell script supplied by them. This circumvents normal security measures, putting users at risk as attackers can remotely execute arbitrary code on the affected product.
