What is CVE-2017-2912?

An exploitable flaw has been identified in the remote control feature of Circle with Disney using firmware version 2.0.1. This vulnerability allows the goclient daemon to incorrectly validate SSL certificates for certain domain names. As a result, an attacker could set up an HTTPS server with an inappropriate certificate, leading to potential man-in-the-middle interactions and unauthorized access to sensitive information.
