What is CVE-2017-2915?

A command injection vulnerability exists within the WiFi configuration functionality of Circle with Disney, specifically on firmware version 2.0.1. By crafting a malicious SSID, an attacker can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary shell commands on the device. The exploitation requires the attacker to send a series of specially formatted HTTP requests and establish an access point reachable by the Circle device, allowing unauthorized actions that could compromise the device's integrity.
