What is CVE-2017-2966?
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 15.020.20042 and earlier, 15.006.30244 and earlier, and 11.0.18 and earlier contain a heap overflow vulnerability in their image conversion engine. This vulnerability stems from the improper handling of malformed TIFF segments, allowing for potential exploitation. When successfully exploited, an attacker may execute arbitrary code on the affected system, posing a significant risk to user data and system integrity.
