What is CVE-2017-3040?
Adobe Acrobat Reader versions up to 11.0.19, 15.006.30280, and 15.023.20070 are susceptible to a memory corruption vulnerability within the JBIG2 image compression module. This flaw could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code by crafting a specially designed image that exploits the memory corruption, potentially compromising the affected system.
