What is CVE-2017-3191?

Certain D-Link router models, specifically the DIR-130 with firmware version 1.23 and the DIR-330 with firmware version 1.12, are susceptible to an authentication bypass vulnerability. This flaw enables remote attackers to gain unauthorized access to administrator-only pages, such as tools_admin.asp, without the need for valid credentials. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can manipulate POST requests to access sensitive management features, potentially compromising the router's security settings and the network it manages.
