Summary

An out-of-bounds memory access vulnerability exists in the drag-and-drop function of VMware Workstation 12.x (before 12.5.4) and Fusion 8.x (before 8.5.5). This flaw may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the host operating system from a guest virtual machine, which could compromise the security and integrity of the virtual environment.
