Summary

VMware Horizon View Client versions 2.x through 4.x prior to 4.5.0 are susceptible to a command injection vulnerability found within the service startup script. If exploited, this flaw allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands with elevated privileges on Mac OSX systems where the client is installed, potentially granting unprivileged users unauthorized root access.
