What is CVE-2017-5069?
A security flaw in the Blink rendering engine of Google Chrome prior to specified versions allows attackers to bypass Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) protections. By exploiting an incorrect MIME type reported by XSS-Protection, an attacker can craft a malicious HTML page that circumvents normal security checks, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data access from affected users' sessions.
