A vulnerability in the function extract_group_icon_cursor_resource within wrestool/extract.c of icoutils before version 0.31.1 allows unallocated memory access. This flaw can enable local users to crash the process, resulting in a denial of service, and potentially execute arbitrary code through specially crafted executables.
