What is CVE-2017-5473?

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in ntopng versions up to 2.4, allowing remote attackers to bypass authentication and execute unauthorized actions on behalf of logged-in users. This flaw can be exploited through various endpoints, including administrative functions such as adding or deleting users and altering user preferences. If successful, the attacker can fully hijack user sessions, exposing sensitive information and compromising user accounts.
