What is CVE-2017-6059?
The Ping Identity OpenID Connect authentication module for Apache (mod_auth_openidc) suffers from a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to spoof page content. This occurs through the manipulation of URLs provided to users, leading to invalid request triggers. Users of versions prior to 2.14 are particularly at risk, as they may inadvertently interact with malicious URLs, therefore exposing sensitive information or confusing users due to incorrect content display.
