What is CVE-2017-7290?

A SQL injection vulnerability exists in XOOPS versions prior to 2.5.8.1, where remote authenticated administrators can exploit the 'url' parameter in findusers.php to execute arbitrary SQL commands. Attackers can potentially manipulate the database, including the creation of backdoor programs using crafted SQL queries such as 'into outfile'. This poses a significant risk to the integrity and confidentiality of the data managed by the application.
