What is CVE-2017-7351?

A SQL injection vulnerability is present in the file upload handler of REDCap versions before 7.0.11. The flaw arises from improper handling of user input in the SendITController:upload method, allowing attackers to execute unauthorized SQL commands. This could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data, manipulation of database contents, or the execution of commands on the underlying database server. Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate risks associated with this vulnerability.
