What is CVE-2017-7364?

A vulnerability exists in Qualcomm Android products where a user-controlled variable can lead to arbitrary memory access. In the function __mdss_fb_copy_destscaler_data(), the variable ds_data[i].scale can reference a user-defined address, causing potential memory corruption scenarios. If an error occurs, this address may be improperly freed, resulting in a use after free condition that could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code or disrupt system operations.
