What is CVE-2017-7615?
MantisBT versions up to 2.3.0 have a vulnerability that allows attackers to perform arbitrary password resets and gain unauthenticated admin access. This occurs through the verification process in verify.php when an attacker submits an empty confirm_hash value. Exploiting this vulnerability could enable unauthorized users to reset passwords and gain administrative control, potentially compromising sensitive data and system integrity.
