What is CVE-2017-8055?

The vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware allows attackers to conduct user enumeration through the XML-RPC login handler. When a login attempt is made with a blank password, the system reveals different responses for valid and invalid usernames. This disparity can be leveraged by an attacker to systematically identify valid usernames on the affected Firebox devices, potentially compromising system security.
