What is CVE-2017-8116?

The management interface, LuCI, utilized by Teltonika RUT9XX routers is susceptible to a remote command execution vulnerability. This issue arises when attackers exploit shell metacharacters in the username parameter during the login process, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.
