What is CVE-2017-8140?
The soundtrigger driver in Huawei P9 Plus smartphones prior to software version VIE-AL10BC00B353 is vulnerable to a memory double free issue. This vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker who convinces a user to install a malicious application.
