What is CVE-2017-8443?

In Kibana X-Pack Security versions before 5.4.3, a crafted URL could lead to improper initialization of the login screen. This exploitation allows attackers to redirect users to a vulnerable login interface. If a user unwittingly enters their credentials on this screen, these sensitive details become visible in the URL bar and can be exposed to third parties.
