What is CVE-2017-8835?

An SQL injection vulnerability exists in certain Peplink Balance devices running firmware versions prior to 7.0.1-build2093. This vulnerability allows an attacker to exploit the bauth cookie sent to cgi-bin/MANGA/admin.cgi, potentially enabling unauthorized account enumeration by determining if a session ID can be retrieved from the sessions database. Users should ensure their devices are updated to the latest firmware to mitigate this risk.
