Summary

The Motorola MX011ANM firmware provided by Comcast contains a vulnerability that enables physically proximate attackers to access the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) server. By connecting a cable to the device's Ethernet port, an attacker may establish communications through the link-local IPv6 address of the device, thereby gaining unauthorized access to sensitive network management functions.
