What is CVE-2017-9555?

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the PixlrEditorHandler.php file of Synology Photo Station versions prior to 6.7.0-3414. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML into the application via the image parameter. If exploited, this can lead to unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the users, potentially compromising sensitive information.
