What is CVE-2017-9783?

A cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in ProjectSend, an open-source file-sharing application, prior to a specific commit. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML code into the site via the Description field during the site name update process. This could potentially lead to malicious script execution in the browser of users who visit the compromised site, putting user data and session information at risk.
