What is CVE-2017-9873?
A vulnerability exists in IrfanView version 4.44 (32bit) when used with the FPX Plugin 4.46, which can be exploited by an attacker through specially crafted .fpx files. This can lead to execution of arbitrary code or a denial of service, triggered by a read access violation on control flow during the plugin's processing of files. Users of this software should take precautions to mitigate the risk associated with this vulnerability.
