What is CVE-2017-9874?
An issue exists in IrfanView version 4.44 (32bit) with FPX Plugin 4.46 that allows attackers to exploit a crafted .fpx file to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. This vulnerability is associated with a user mode write access violation starting at the FPX_GetScanDevicePropertyGroup function, posing significant risks to users when handling potentially malicious image files.
