What is CVE-2017-9880?

A security flaw in IrfanView version 4.44 (32bit) with the FPX Plugin version 4.46 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service. This is achievable through a maliciously crafted .fpx file, exploiting weaknesses in how data from faulting addresses affect code execution flow.
