What is CVE-2017-9982?

The TeamSpeak Client version 3.0.19 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that enables remote attackers to crash the application. This is achieved by sending a specially crafted sequence of Unicode characters. When the ᗪ Unicode character is followed by the ༿ Unicode character, it leads to the application encountering an unexpected error condition, resulting in a crash. Users of the affected version should apply updates or patches from TeamSpeak Systems to enhance their security against such attacks.
