Summary
A vulnerability in the role-based resource checking functionality in Cisco Unified Computing System Director could potentially allow an authenticated, remote attacker to access unauthorized information regarding any virtual machine in the UCS Director end-user portal. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker with modified access credentials could view all virtual machines and execute user-permitted operations across them. This vulnerability arises from improper user authentication checks and impacts UCS Director releases 6.0 and 6.5 prior to patch 3 in default configurations.
