Summary

A vulnerability exists in the detection engine of Cisco Firepower System Software that may allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass important file action policies. This issue arises from an incorrect calculation of the percentage of dropped traffic when an Intelligent Application Bypass (IAB) with a specified drop percentage threshold is used. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted network traffic to a targeted device, which might enable them to bypass file action policies, thereby allowing undesired or malicious traffic to enter the network.
