What is CVE-2018-0641?
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Aterm HC100RC router, version 1.0.1 and earlier, that could be exploited by an attacker with administrator rights. This vulnerability allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code by manipulating the 'date', 'time', and 'offset' parameters through the tools_system.cgi interface. This can lead to unauthorized actions on the device, potentially compromising network security.
