What is CVE-2018-0826?
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in the Windows Storage Services due to improper handling of objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability could run arbitrary code with elevated permissions. This might allow the execution of malicious software or gaining unauthorized access to sensitive data on the affected systems. Users are encouraged to apply updates from Microsoft to mitigate this risk.
