What is CVE-2018-1002203?

The unzipper library, prior to version 0.8.13, has a directory traversal vulnerability that can be exploited to write arbitrary files on the host system. This occurs when a Zip archive entry is processed incorrectly, allowing attackers to craft input that includes '../' sequences. As a result, malicious actors can traverse the directory structure and potentially overwrite or create files in unauthorized locations on the server.
