What is CVE-2018-10079?

The Geist WatchDog Console version 3.2.2 has a weakness in its access control list (ACL) configuration that affects the C:\ProgramData\WatchDog Console directory. This vulnerability permits local users to alter critical configuration files such as config.xml and servers.xml, potentially leading to unauthorized modifications in the application’s behavior and settings. Attackers with local access can exploit these permissions to compromise system integrity and stability.
