What is CVE-2018-10167?

The web application backup file for the TP-Link EAP Controller and Omada Controller contains a hard-coded cryptographic key, making it vulnerable to unauthorized access. Attackers with knowledge of this key and the associated algorithm can potentially decrypt and manipulate the backup file, allowing low-privilege users to escalate their privileges. This vulnerability was addressed in the release of version 2.6.1_Windows.
