CVE-2018-10244
9.8CRITICAL
What is CVE-2018-10244?
A vulnerability in Suricata version 4.0.4 allows malformed EtherNet/IP Protocol Data Units (PDUs) to be improperly parsed. This can lead to an overflow condition in the handling of PDU lengths, potentially causing the parsing code to access memory beyond allocated buffers. Threat actors could exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code or affect the normal operation of the application, compromising the security and stability of network systems.
