What is CVE-2018-10839?
An integer overflow vulnerability exists in Qemu emulator versions up to 3.0.0 that supports NE2000 NIC emulation. This flaw can lead to a buffer overflow condition when processing incoming network packets. An attacker with access to the guest system could exploit this weakness to crash the Qemu process, resulting in potential denial-of-service (DoS) conditions.
