What is CVE-2018-11056?

RSA BSAFE Micro Edition Suite and Crypto-C Micro Edition are susceptible to an Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability when handling ASN.1 data. A remote attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted ASN.1 data, which can lead to excessive resource consumption and potentially result in a Denial of Service (DoS), impacting the availability of the application.
