Summary

A command injection flaw exists in the NetworkManager integration script of the DHCP client for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7, as well as Fedora 28 and earlier versions. This vulnerability exposes systems to potential risks when connected to a malicious DHCP server or when an attacker is on the local network, capable of spoofing DHCP responses. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with root privileges, leading to significant security breaches and loss of control over the affected systems.
